Position: Electrical Engineer
Location: Islamabad
Renewable Resources (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer passionate about power system design, renewable energy integration, and energy modeling.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical system design and analysis for solar, hybrid, and BESS projects.
- Develop and simulate energy systems using software such as PVsyst, HOMER Pro, and AutoCAD.
- Conduct load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop assessments, and protection coordination.
- Assist in the design of LV/MV electrical distribution systems including SLDs, wiring layouts, and BOM preparation.
- Support feasibility studies, yield estimation, and energy modeling for commercial and industrial clients.
- Contribute to project documentation including technical reports, proposals, and system design presentations.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure design compliance and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s in Energy Systems or Power preferred).
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical design and renewable energy systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools such as AutoCAD and simulation platforms like PVsyst or HOMER.
- Knowledge of BESS design and hybrid system optimization is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with standards and codes for electrical system design.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Project management knowledge and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
